JetBlue's Online Check-in allows you to check-in up to 24 hours before your flight departs. To use Online Check-in:
- Check in 90 minutes-24 hours before your flight is scheduled to depart.
- You have a confirmed reservation.
- You are traveling domestically.
- You are not a special needs passenger.
Make sure you leave enough time at the airport to get through security, check your bags etc. You will be able to print your boarding pass at home but will have to drop your bags at JetBlue Self Service/Bag Drop at the airport before the cut-off time. When you use Online Check-in you can change or select your seat.
For domestic flights JetBlue recommends you arrive at the airport 60-120 minutes before your flight's scheduled departure time (depending on airport). Tthe cut-off for checking baggage is 30 minutes before departure time.
For international flights JetBlue recommends you arrive at the airport 3 hours before your flight's scheduled departure time. The cut-off for checking baggage is 45 minutes before departure time.
At the boarding gate domestic passengers should be at least 10 minutes before departure time, international passenger should be at least 20 minutes before departure time.

Children up to 2 years old (24 months), are not required to have their own seat. You can also choose to purchase a seat for your infant as long as you have the proper child restraint device.
While traveling domestically a child under 2 years old (24 months) can travel for free as long as the infant will be on the lap of another passenger for the flight.
While traveling internationally a child under 2 years old (24 months) is usually charged $11.95 tax, even if the infant will be on the lap of another passenger for the flight.
Each passenger may bring one bag that fits in the overhead bin and one personal item. Maximum dimensions of carry-on luggage on Airbus A320: 26in x 18in x 12in. Maximum dimensions of carry-on luggage on Embraer 190: 24in x 16in x 10in. Maximum dimensions of personal item: 18in x 15in x 8in.
Each passenger is allowed 2 checked bags as long as each with maximum dimensions 62 linear inches/157 cm and maximum weight 50 lb/23 kg.
Domestic Flights:
- Fee for any bag between 63-80 in/158-203 cm: $50
- Fee for any bag weighing 51-70 lb/23-32 kg: $20
- Fee for any bag weighing 71-99 lb/32-45 kg: $50
- Fee for each additional bag: $50 each
Flights to/from Aruba, Bahamas, Bermuda, and Mexico:
- Fee for any bag between 63-80 in/158-203 cm: $80
- Fee for any bag weighing 51-70 lb/23-32 kg: $20
- Fee for any bag weighing 71-99 lb/32-45 kg: $80
- Fee for each additional bag: $80 each
Flights to/from the Dominican Republic: Overweight and oversized baggage is not accepted to/from the Dominican Republic. Boxes are not permitted as checked baggage.
