Hawaiian Airlines's Web Check-in allows you to check-in up to 24 hours before your flight departs.
You can use Online Check-in only when:
- You check-in 90 minutes-24 hours before your flight is scheduled to depart.
- You are traveling on an inter-island or mainland flight.
- You have an electronic ticket for a confirmed reservation on Hawaiian Airlines.
- You are not a special needs passenger (ie. Unaccompanied Minor).
Make sure you have enough time at the airport to get through security, check your bags etc.
If you have bags to check, you will be able to print your boarding pass at home but will have to drop your bags with a Hawaiian Airlines skycap or at the Hawaiian Airlines Check-in counter at the airport before the cut-off time.
When you use Online Check-in you can change or select your seat.
If you are traveling on an inter-island flight, you better arrive at the airport 2 hours before your flight.
If you are traveling on a mainland flight, it is recommended to you to arrive at the airport 3 hours before your flight.
If you are domestic passenger, you must check in 30 minutes before your flight's departure.
If you are international passenger, you must check in 60 minutes before your flight's departure.

Children up to 2 years old (24 months), are not required to have their own seat. You must, however, inform Hawaiian Airlines that you will be traveling with an infant on your lap. Lap children can only be held by passengers who are at least 18 years of age on domestic flights and 16 years of age on international flights.
While traveling internationally, a child under 2 years old (24 months) is usually charged 10% of an adult fare plus taxes, even if the child will be on the lap of another passenger for the flight.
Carry-On Allowance: 1 Bag + 1 Personal Item
Each passenger is allowed to carry on one bag and one personal item such as a purse or briefcase.
All passengers are allowed 2 checked bags as long as each bag adheres to the following requirements: 62 linear inches/157 cm (length + width + height)
Maximum Weight: 50 lb/23 kg. Fee for any bag weighing 51-70 lb: $50. Bags weighing more than 70 lb will not be accepted.
Fee for any bag between 63-80 in: Contact Hawaiian Airlines. Bags exceeding 80 in will not be accepted.
Extra Baggage Fees
Fee for additional bag (for travel within Hawaii only): $25 each Fee for additional bags 1-3: $80 each Fee for additional bags 4-6: $105 each Fee for additional bags 7+: $180 each
Excess bags are only permitted if space is available.
Some items, such as surfboards and bicycles will be charged a fixed handling fee because of size, fragility, or other requirements.
